GED Preparation
Jefferson County Public Schools Adult and Continuing Education offers comprehensive basic skills training FREE of charge in more than 50 locations throughout Jefferson County.  The choice of day or evening classes makes it easier for busy adults to attend classes and progress at their own pace.


JCPS, in partnership with the Louisville Public Library is now issuing a voucher worth $20 to pay half the cost of the GED Test.

NEWS:

Jefferson County Adult and Continuing Education
has been recognized as one of eight Adult Education departments in the nation who will serve as a Model Program for the Communicating Success to Stakeholders phase of the Dollar General/ProLiteracy Performance Accountability Initiative.  As a model program, Adult Basic Education’s communications tools and other strategies will be showcased as the nation’s most effective examples of adult education programs. The recognition follows a site visit by ProLiteracy Worldwide, which is the largest organization of adult basic education and literacy programs in the United States.
